GOLD Award - Portrait Studio - SWPP August 2012

I've not entered many competitions of late, for one I've been to busy but another because the standards have got higher and I needed to push myself further in photography! I entered this image for last months competition and am delighted to say it achieved GOLD in Portrait Studio. It will now be published in the Society of Weddings and Portrait Photographers magazine!

Well I didn't know my exact scores of images I entered into the international awards in London when I was down.. All I knew I didn't get a merit this time for either... Rather gutted.... This one I received a mark of 79 just one mark away from having a merit!! Very gutted... I believe everything over 75 is classed as a professional image.. My other image received a mark of 77. I'll work harder this year and hopefully I'll get a few merits next time! http://ift.tt/1krNuCL
